Olaf Giesen takes over the Sales department of EUROPART in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland

Olaf Giesen, Head of Sales Germany, Austria & Switzerland – EUROPART

Hagen, 15 September 2014. Olaf Giesen (45) will take over the Sales department for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (DACH) at EUROPART, the leading dealer for commercial vehicle parts and workshop equipment in Europe, as of 15 September 2014. Giesen has already been overseeing exposed sales projects at EUROPART since March this year. As part of his new role, he is responsible for over 50 branches including all joint venture- and co-operation partners. Olaf Giesen reports directly to CEO Pierre Fleck who previously served as provisional lead of the DACH business. Fleck commented on Giesen’s new position as follows: „I am glad we managed to bring Olaf Giesen on board who is widely known as an experienced business insider and sales expert. Olaf Giesen has fully integrated himself in the EUROPART organization. With his experience and competence, he will further strengthen our position in the DACH region and provide new impulses for these sales areas.“
Prior to joining EUROPART, the 45-year old served as managing director at Hofmeister & Meincke. By appointing Olaf Giesen head of sales of the DACH region, EUROPART is pushing forward the successful development of its sales organization. Olaf Giesen is looking forward to his new position: „The sales department in Germany has become even more professional thanks to its new structure. The recognition as „Best Brand 2014″ proofs that EUROPART enjoys the trust of both its customers and the entire industry. As part of my new position I will personally see to that we continue to earn and deserve this trust in future.“
Olaf Giesen will welcome customers in his new function for the first time at the IAA from 25 September to 2 October 2014. In Hall 26, booth C59 EUROPART will not only present the comprehensive product portfolio of its own brand, but also its competence in the field of spare parts for omnibuses.
